The author points to some of the corrections that these long term dynamics are making to the model (such as super angels, survival of funds, founder liquidity etc). Central point – venture investing is a competitive market, and the model adapts in response to market forces. Having said that, it adapts very very slowly!

Earlier, Alok cofounded JobsAhead.com, a leading job portal which was acquired by Monster.com. Alok is a computer science graduate from IIT Delhi and, postgraduate from UC, Berkeley.
