This articles page has a set of really good articles and advise for first time enterpreneurs.
The first time I found this I was up all night reading as many articles as I can ( while watching a late night football world cup match)
Enjoy folks!

Undoubtably, the professor has a lot of experience in the area and knows what he is talking about. Since angel investment is not as “structured” as venture capital, an angel investors relies a lot on his/her gut feel about the entrepreneur and the company. But because there is no company, he/she has to rely on the evaluation of the entrepreneur. At the same time, an angel is not equal to easy money. Therefore the pitch to an angel investor and a VC should be the same. The “gut feel” of an angel investor might feel a bit better if there is a well devleped business plan to read.
Interesting stuff for sure.
I’m in the middle of the list and can relate to most of it in my quest for investment. However, the articles made me wonder, if the whole process of preparing business plans to sales pitch for the VCs is at all worth the effort. I am wishfully thinking that as the author mentions, most of it is highly exaggerated.
Any comments from the “been there done that”s.
Wow ! They really seem to be very useful articles. Thanks.
