Myzus is provider of Mobile VAS solutions for the global telecom operator. We started off as a product company on the IIT Bombay campus in late 1999 and are today are shifting to a new business model as provider of managed marketplaces to Mobile Operators. Our product/service focus is in two main directions:-
helping operators increase the sort of value added services they offer
helping them increase the %age of their subscriber base who can consume these services.
We are looking for the following sorts to join the Gang:-
1. COO (single position)
We are looking for an energetic leader who will lead the product development, global presales and customer support teams based out of India. The team is small (25 people presently) but we want to grow to about 40 and consolidate the entire team into a single location. (We’re presently spread between bombay and poona). The candidate has to be a process driven entrepreneur with prior experience in leading teams who have built scalable internet or telecom solutions. We want someone who is exceptionally good at any one of the three areas – product development, presales, support and has a decent understanding of the rest.
2. R&D engineers (2nos)
We are looking for two hardcore programmers who will work directly with myself (CEO) to build mock-ups of our future product line. These will typically then be used to show’n tell customers or else as part of internal pitches to engineering. This position is ideal for geeks who want to be at the cutting edge of technology, like travel and seeing the latest stuff, working late hours and lots of adrenaline. Must be really really really really good as a developer. Must also have some aesthetic sense / intuitive sense for user experience.

We’ve got a very good response to the launch of SlideShare and need to hire developers and a sysadmin immediately to keep up with your enthusiasm. This is for our team in New Delhi. The Uzanto team is a small, tightly-knit team of developers and designers in India & US.
We work with cutting edge technologies – Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and Amazon Web Services. We are looking for developers and a sys admins. We have a small, tightly-knit team of web developers & designers in US and India. Our setup consists of Ruby, Rails, MySQL, lighttpd/mongrel, Pound, FreeBSD, and Debian. We run our Rails apps on a 5-machine cluster (and Amazon S3).
Developer Position: You should be a proven web hacker who can help us get Slideshare to out of the Beta stage and beyond. Freshers OK: having an existing personal web project is a huge plus. Ruby or PHP experience is OK: we can teach you Ruby if you already “get” the web, PHP, CSS, MySql, etc. You MUST be a rock-star where web coding is concerned.
SysAdmin Position: You should have some experience managing open-source clusters. You must be comfortable setting up new servers, tweaking NFS configs, spotting bottlenecks, server surveillance, benchmarking Mongrels, etc. We need you to keep Slideshare working – dealing with any performance crunches, & daily problems that might slow down the site or cause other problems for users.
