Friends, writing the Vision India 2020 series has been extremely interesting and rewarding. The series is being syndicated by Indian newspaper, DNAIndia, and I keep receiving emails from entrepreneurs who are working on / thinking about ventures along the lines of my Vision India columns. Here are the ones that I have written so far:
Preface, MIT India, Urja, Lucid, Darjeeling, Renaissance, Gangotri, Maya Ray, Elixar, Bioscope, Thakur, and AdiShakti.
Each venture has built-in scalability to become billion dollar enterprises, and I encourage entrepreneurs looking for ideas to work on some of these.
After the first 4 pieces, Preface, MIT India: Engineering Education, Urja: Global Fashion Brand, and Lucid: K-12 Education, here are two new ones:
Darjeeling: A Tea Lounge Brand and Renaissance: A Heritage Holidays Brand.
Hope you enjoy these, and also, do let me know what concepts *you* would like to see explored in the Vision India 2020 series. [Btw, this series is being syndicated by the Indian newspaper, DNA India.]
Here are pointers to the articles so far in this series:
- Preface
- MIT India: Engineering Education
- Urja: Global Fashion Brand
- Lucid: K-12 Education
MIT India and Urja have also generated a great deal of discussion, which I welcome you to read and participate in.
Lucid is a new piece, and I expect, will generate similar discussion soon.
This is a new series in which I invite readers to take a journey with me into the future through the minds of multiple entrepreneurs, who by addressing the opportunities I see today, will perhaps shape the future of India.
But in this series, we will close our eyes, and exist in this future, and BE each entrepreneur. To read the first of these posts, click here.
Enjoy!
