There is another company that goes by the name of XID Technologies (www.xidtech.com) that has developed something along similar lines. They did a cool demo in Singapore recently where they could morph Saddam’s face on a video of Thierry Henry. Would love to know your views on the avatar space and whether you think it has much potential.

Ravi, I looked at XID and they seem to be more around face recognition — looks very different from gizmoz, though some of the technology elements might be similar. And perhaps XID could do something similar to what gizmoz is doing, but they seem to be headed in different directions.
I am very bullish on web based virtual reality, and I think avatars are an expression of the same. I do think people want to express themselves in this form. Lets see!
