Heartiest congratulations to all the winners and the other finalists as well! I hope they will take some time out to tell the Venturewoods community more about their ventures!

I read the article. I am a bit surprised. Infozech was founded in 99 and 6 Dee in 2002. Only Vegayan seems to be a real startup - founded this year. I thought this event was meant for nurturing new ideas and companies.

The event was indeed meant for nuturing new ideas, but those can come from within existing companies. I was at the Challenge and from what I know these people are trying new products and models within their companies. Besides, venture capital is not just for seed funding, but can also be for growth.
