Thanks Alok. This is truly inspiring. The world watches India as it rises, India is destined to make a difference, a big difference to global economy.
As the video says, lots need to be done on the infrastructure front. And I feel on the social front too. Thanks again for the url.
Good One..
Pravs,
I think India has already passed the minimum threshold required for becoming a great (developed) country.
Economic Growth: Privatisation of Indian economy has led to great benefits to millions of Indians over a period of last 10-15 years and now we know how to make money and compete on global scale!
Social Mix: Today Indians are breaking the caste system; people are getting married inter-caste and inter-religion due to many factors such as:- Education, Economic neccessity (no money for dowry or not suitable match in same community), Western influences, Increased movement of indians with in country.
Technology: Decades of emphasis on Education (english, science, maths and technology) is bearing the fruits: New innovations, technologies, higher productivity has given an edge to Indians.
Labour: Relatively young population is definitely a BIG plus for India if it has to achieve the dream of becoming developed nation in next 50 years.
